Join The Crew: Volunteer with Thunder Bay Lacrosse League
The Thunder Bay Lacrosse League (TBLL) relies on the ongoing support of community volunteers to keep our game growing. Whether you’re a high school student looking for community service hours or a fan who was already planning to be at the rink, we welcome anyone interested in supporting youth sports.
We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers for the upcoming 2026 Season (April – June). No previous experience or prior knowledge is necessary, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
Volunteer Positions
- Coaches & Bench Staff
Lead and mentor young athletes.
Develop player skills and promote teamwork.
Assist with coaching clinics and before-game team support.
All experience levels welcome; training is provided.
- Referees (Officials)
Officiate games and ensure fair play on the floor.
Learn the rules, official calls, and game management.
- Time keepers and Score keepers
Manage the game clock and track official game time.
Record goals, penalties, and game statistics on official scoresheets.
Support the officials with game administrative duties.
- Event Volunteer
Assist with the coordination and execution of league events
Provide on-site support: (setup, registration and guest directions)
Help create a high-energy, positive atmosphere for players and families
