Dryland “Try Lacrosse” Sessions Filling Fast for 2026
Thunder Bay, ON — Interest is building quickly as Full-Team Dryland “Try Lacrosse” Sessions for 2026 are now filling up, with limited spots remaining for teams looking to experience one of the fastest-growing sports in Canada.

Offered completely free of charge, these sessions invite teams to bring their full roster for a high-energy dryland experience that focuses on agility, coordination, conditioning, and team connection,all while introducing athletes to the excitement of lacrosse. Designed with multi-sport athletes in mind, the sessions are an ideal fit for hockey, basketball, soccer, and other team sports looking for a fun and effective cross-training opportunity.

Each session is fully structured and led by experienced instructors. Teams simply show up with their equipment, and organizers take care of the rest. The program emphasizes athletic development, communication, spacing, and fast-paced movement, helping athletes build transferable skills they can use across sports.

“With demand already high for 2026, we’re encouraging teams to book early,” organizers say. “These sessions are first-come, first-served.”

How to Register

Once a booking is confirmed, teams will receive a follow-up email from the Event Coordinator with session details, reminders, and instructions.

Session Locations

  • Sunday Sessions: St. Bernard Elementary School
    655 River St, Thunder Bay

  • Wednesday Sessions: Bishop Gallagher Senior Elementary School
    159 Clayte St, Thunder Bay

Participants must bring full equipment, including a caged helmet, chest protector, arm or elbow guards, gloves, indoor shoes, and athletic clothing. All teams must complete full registration under Try Lacrosse or submit signed waivers prior to participation.

With sessions already booking up, teams are encouraged to secure their spot soon and discover why lacrosse is known as the fastest game on two feet.
