Thunder Bay Lacrosse League Opens 2026 Volunteer Recruitment: No Experience Needed!
The Thunder Bay Lacrosse League (TBLL) is officially kicking off its recruitment drive for the upcoming 2026 season, and the message is clear: whether you are a seasoned veteran of the sport or have never picked up a stick, there is a place for you in the TBLL family.
As the league continues to grow, so does the need for passionate community members to support youth athletes during the spring season, which runs from
April through June 2026.
Growing the Game Together
Volunteering with TBLL is about more than just filling a role; it's about becoming a catalyst for youth development. By joining the league, volunteers help ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where local youth can stay active while learning the fastest game on two feet!
"We want to get the word out about how impactful lacrosse can be... it's a unique opportunity to foster teamwork, build community and help young athletes develop life skills that stay with them long after they leave the rink!"
Roles for Everyone
The league is looking to fill several key positions for the 2026 season:
- Coaches and Bench Staff
- Officials
- Time Keepers and Score Keepers
- Event Volunteers
The League emphasizes that no previous experience is required. Comprehensive training is provided for the roles, making this the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in the sport to come and learn the game alongside other volunteers and the athletes!
